We all experience dry skin from time to time. It can be triggered by a change in temperature, abrasive soaps and a change in skincare routines. Here are a couple of things to keep in mind for relieving dry skin.

Apply Coconut Oil:
Coconut oil provides smoothness to the skin and can help in relieving dry skin. Since coconut oil is mild, it can be used on sensitive parts of your body, for example, under your eyes.
2. Eat foods that are rich in Omega-3s and antioxidants:
Foods like blueberries, tomatoes and carrots can minimize the damage caused by toxins and encourages healthy cell growth in your body. Similarly, foods that are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, such as salmon and anchovies, promote the production of oil for the skin and reduce breakouts.
3. Adjust your shower routine:
Dermatologist Shari Marchbein told Allure, that taking hot showers can aggravate by hot showers since it strips the sebum and healthy fats from the skin. Moreover, some soaps may also dry the skin out.
4. Apply honey on your skin:
Honey has anti-inflammatory and moisturizing effects on the skin. It helps to balance out the bacteria on the skin and can help with breakouts.
5. Apply aloe vera before going to bed:
Aloe vera has been proven to have anti-inflammatory properties. It also encourages the production of collagen. Apply aloe vera gel before going to bed and cover it with a towel. Repeat regularly to see effects.
6. Oatmeal:
Oatmeal has anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties. Adding it to your shower gel and scrubbing your skin with it can help relieve dry skin. Use a suitable moisturizer once you wash it off. Skin products containing oatmeal can hydrate your skin and reduce dryness.
